First thing, I found out I passed my law exam!!! When I was told the breakdown of my marks for the ethics and exam respectively, for a split second I thought, “Like barely made it only - so paiseh.”

But you know what?
I don’t care because I passed! And it’s a miracle indeed! Thank You for the perfect birthday present.
:mmm:

Anyway, I wanted to share a few funny things I overheard at work. I hope if I never get presented with any of these when I’m having my irrepressible giggle fit.
:sidelook:

“Can I have my repeat of emmy-trampoline?”
“Did the doctor prescribe my in-hi-baa-chi?”
“What is the cloppy-dog-rail for?”
“My husband is trying to kill me by not taking my script of Atacand home for me, can I loan a few tablets?”

The last line came from my colleague
I know I shouldn’t make fun of these things because what goes around, comes around…but it was pretty funny at that point of time.
:hee:

Hmmm…as opposed to last year, this year is awfully quiet and…alone? Not lonely, just alone.

It felt like any other day at work (crazy one, too! And it will be crazy for a whole week due to being short of staff both in the dispensary and shop).

I wish I could have a nice meal out (I miss Japanese food!) but I think I’d just settle for some fish+chips (from the freezer).

More later!

The authors of blogs that I stalk/read/kepoh at celebrate their birthdays in October, too.

:hee:

It’s been a pooped out day for me today and I am not excited about tomorrow at all. It can be age, it can be because no one here knows about it…

I’ve prepared boiled eggs but have no red-colouring. I don’t want to ask Carmen because then she’d ask me why would I have the sudden need for red, food colouring.
:clueless:
I shall sacrifice a small amount of Benetint to just give the eggs some polka dots (crazy meh to use Benetint to make red eggs?!!)

The only present I’d like at the moment?
My law exam results to be positive.

Fellow comrades, I am sure you’d be able to understand why I think this blog amuses me.
It is especially entertaining because whatever I want to say about work, she’s got it there and very spot-on, too!
And check this one, too!

I’ve been pretty “quiet” and not exactly in the mood to write much.

Ah! But I have something today.
I was asked by my preceptor if I started work in January.
I couldn’t help laughing and when I turned to Kelly, she was grinning going, “That was C!”
“I started on 31st of May.”
Then preceptor went, “Oh! May, aye? No wonder everything feels rushed.”
:pfft:

Oh! And I did the write-up for the ‘dones (methadone) today, too. Practising for assessment centre.
:hee:

I am still waiting for my law exam results.
The longer the wait, the more nervous I get about finding out my results.
:pfft:
